Carpet & timber flooring contrast in this stunning home

We’re excited about another recently completed project. This stunning home designed by Architect Brendon Gordon, and built by Award winning builders Calley Homes was completed earlier this year. From the Welcome Bay site the home is positioned overlooking the harbour and out to the Mount.

The clients were involved in the specification of their home interior and with their love of colour and art they chose to use a relatively neutral coloured timber throughout the living spaces to ensure their design features stood out.

Their timber flooring choice took into consideration the indoor and outdoor flow of the living space, the durability and natural wearing nature of the product and the resilience needed for this high traffic area. From the home’s entry, throughout the kitchen and dining areas the timber floor provides the perfect transition from each space and will continue to look great in years to come as it naturally ages.

Product: Timber Flooring from the Forte Flooring range: Ultra 21mm – Colour: Marbled Oak

The carpet throughout all the rest spaces within the home is complete luxury underfoot. Our clients chose Cavalier Bremworth Moods of Monet II in the rich, dark colour Parasol. A cut pile carpet Moods of Monet II is a stylish yet durable option for any home. Made in New Zealand from 100% pure New Zealand wool.

Our clients also carpeted the garage area using Beglotex garage carpet in Anthracite Charcoal.
