A Coastal Classic, Reimagined

This bold transformation on the harbour's edge is a story of vision, precision, and exceptional craft. Stripped back to its original solid plaster block base, the former home has been entirely redefined—now an elevated expression of coastal living shaped by sea views, light, and sculptural form.

Anchoring the new structure is a dramatic five-metre-high clerestory pop-up roofline, with vertical aluminium weatherboards and screened feature walls that give the façade its rhythm and refinement. Inside, architectural gestures continue with soaring ceiling heights, expansive glazing, and a layout that flows seamlessly between kitchen, dining, living, and outdoor spaces.

To bring warmth and texture to the lower-level bedrooms and rumpus area, Belgotex Crescent in the colour Pavement was selected and installed by Gerrand Floorings. This solution-dyed nylon carpet offers a refined, cut-pile finish with excellent durability and soft tactile appeal—ideal for family spaces that demand both comfort and resilience. The Pavement tone works effortlessly within the home’s monochromatic palette, adding tonal depth and understated texture to the otherwise clean-lined spaces.

Downstairs, a modernised rumpus complete with kitchenette, library, guest bedrooms, and even a reconditioned sauna opens onto manicured lawns and a revitalised pool area—blurring the line between relaxation and retreat. Throughout, curated details such as recessed strip lighting, a sculptural woodburner, and refined tiling choices speak to the craftsmanship and care invested in every corner. In the garage, Belgotex Grand Prix Anthracite carpet delivers both comfort and enhanced functionality.
