The Jones Builder showhome (now closed) showcases a wealth of inspiration. The home was designed with the "raising a family" theme at it's heart. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a powder room, it’s the perfect place for alfresco meals, entertaining, and for the kids to play. We take a closer look at this years House of the Year entry.

Design inspiration was drawn from the country’s beautiful landscapes. Natural hues and textures from our great outdoors have been brought inside to create a serene ambience. Throughout the home you’ll find 100 per cent pure New Zealand wool carpet and stone bench tops.
The carpet chosen for the lounge is 7 Star Coco from the Signature Pure Wool Collection. The carpet features 100% felted wool and is also produced in Holland to the highest and most luxurious standards, with the addition of being made up of pure European and New Zealand wools. Coco also features a dense 80oz fibre weight and 18mm pile height for a carpet that provides the ultimate combination of timeless style and pure luxury.
Dark and rich in colour the Creative Floorings oiled engineered oak timber floor is in Country Grade. The light wire brushing process helps conceal minor scratch marks when the floor is in use. It also highlights the timber grain and opens up the pores for better oil absorption.
The master bedroom at the Jones Builders Showhome includes a study/makeup space and also a window seat. We're loving the warm tones and versatility of the room.
